About Chiwowow

Hi, I'm Paula, I started Chiwowow purely as a hobby in 2010 after welcoming two beautiful Chihuahua girls, Mimi and Lulu, to my home and realising how difficult it was to find individual, quality clothing for them that actually fit. Having previously run my own bespoke children’s wear business, it seemed a natural progression to turn my creative ideas and abilities to my new furbabies.

​I now spend most of my time following my passion, designing and creating unique clothing for beautiful tiny doggies.

​

Originally most of my work was made-to-order from a waiting list via my Facebook and Instagram pages where you can still find a lot of my designs but now I have built up enough stock, I also want to offer ready-made designs enabling easy choice and quicker delivery.

Here you will find gorgeous creations, many of which are one-of-a-kind and keepsakes. All are individually handmade from the finest fabrics and yarns with merino, cashmere, silk and angora (to name a few) and many feature unusual and unique embellishments I have bought on my travels.

Of course, I still offer my bespoke made-to-measure service, including my famous “Selfie” designs, for those clients wanting something truly individual or needing a special size or design concept (wedding, celebration or seasonal outfit).
